Company Overview
This successful manufacturer/installer of granite, quartz and solid surface countertops has
proven its flexibility during the construction downturn and is now posed for explosive
growth. By diversifying out of new construction early and focusing on direct consumer
and efficiency, margins have been maintained at 15% during 2008/09.
While marketing and quality products catapulted the company to prominence with the
major builders over the 2003 to 2007 time period, management was busy plowing profits
back into technology and efficiency to improve productivity. At the same time,
manpower costs were optimized and a virtual inventory control system added to insure
