"I wanted to share some good news with you regarding your AM&AA membership network.

I recently was advising a client on a sale of his insurance agency.  A complicated matter of 'purchase price allocation' arose and I needed some specialized guidance.  I placed this complex dilema on the 'e-mail exchange' of AM&AA members and within twenty-four (24) hours I received seventeen (17) responses that were perfectly on point, offering a variety of solutions.  In addition, one of the members had included as an attachment, a twenty-two (22) page 'article' addressing and explaining this topic directly and in great detail  Further, I was introduced to a 'tax specialist' with dozens of years of experience in transactions exactly like the one facing my client. 

I shared this 'article' and the collection of ideas with my client's accountant and tax attorney.  From those ideas alone, the client moved over 30% of his transaction into a lower tax bracket, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars.  In fact, I am not sure that the deal would have gotten done without this information.  And I cannot begin to imagine how I would have otherwise accumulated such a wealth of ideas, perfectly explained, in such a short period of time.

I will definitely be working closer with this AM&AA membership in the years ahead.
