Jason Hullender is a Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA), Managing Director, and a founding member of IAG M&A Advisors. Since co-founding the firm in 2009, Jason has helped build IAG into one of North America’s leading M&A advisory firms, specializing in assisting small to middle-market business owners in preparing for and executing successful exits.
With a career spanning decades in business development, marketing, and dealmaking, Jason brings a disciplined, results-focused approach rooted in trust and transparency. Before founding IAG, he served in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the work ethic and leadership principles that continue to guide his professional philosophy today.
Jason’s commitment and credibility are reflected not only in the firm’s track record but in its very founding — he personally raised early capital from friends and family, a testament to the confidence others placed in his integrity and ability to deliver results.
Throughout his career, Jason has been a trusted advisor to hundreds of entrepreneurs and business owners, working closely with clients to understand their goals and navigate every stage of the M&A process — from valuation and preparation to marketing and negotiation.
In addition to his leadership role at IAG, Jason remains active in mentoring advisors and shaping the firm’s strategic growth. Outside the office, Jason is a dedicated family man and a Little League coach, reflecting his commitment to both family and community.
Jason welcomes conversations with business owners who are thinking about succession planning or want to better understand what options may be available when it comes time to sell.
