The AM&AA New England Chapter was founded in 2014. They have 50 active members and host 4 major events a year, combining education and social activities, in addition to more casual events through the year. They often partner with other professional associations to co-host events in the region. We interviewed Tony Boschetto, Chapter Leader, to find out more about how New England does things.
When asked what an example of success coming out of this chapter is he said:
We are fortunate to have an advisory board filled with some of the best M&A professionals in the New England Market. Having such a dedicated group of professionals allows us to bring great insights to the community and bring great people together.
What was a standout event you had and what made it so memorable?
We recently hosted a night of networking with over 70 attendees. Great night to connect with professionals in the New England, socialize and kick off spring/summer. It is great to see so many professionals engaged in conversations and building deeper relationships.
Anything you want to say to nonmembers about your next upcoming event?
I am thrilled to announce our Member Only M&A Monthly Roundtable event to be held the second Thursday of every month with the initial meeting on June 8th. This will be a fantastic opportunity to connect and engage with fellow members, as well as gain valuable insights into industry trends and deal-making opportunities.
The event will take place in-person at Gesmer Updegrove LLP from 4:00 to 6:00. We have a fantastic schedule planned, including networking, insightful discussions, and member spotlights. I truly believe that this event will be informative, engaging, and a great chance to build strong relationships with your fellow members.
Our main objective is to support our members and provide a platform to share deal trends and opportunities.
