The AM&AA Utah Chapter was founded in June 2022 and currently boasts a membership of 12 professionals in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions. The chapter meets quarterly to provide a forum for members to network, share knowledge and engage in discussions on current trends and issues in the industry. We interviewed Ty Gatherum, Chapter Leader, to find out more about how Utah does things.

What was a standout event you had and what made it so memorable?
Our tour of Uinta Brewery checked all the boxes we aim to achieve, bespoke networking, unique content, and deal flow exchange. The CEO of Uinta participated in a panel of M&A experts and shared his learnings from taking Uinta through an M&A process. The event attracted 45 industry professionals and business leaders who enjoyed a behind-the-scenes brewery tour and stayed late to share introductions and discuss dealmaking opportunities.
